Latesha Byrd is the CEO of Perfeqta, and serves as an Advisor to executives looking to create and nurture a remarkable culture within their organizations and invest in their talent. She strives to help companies align employee growth to company growth in an equitable fashion. 

Latesha is a Certified Career Coach, talent developer, and lifelong advocate of creating safe spaces and building equitable communities and cultures. She helps mission driven,fast-growing companies drive inclusion, retention, team performance and employee satisfaction. 

For almost a decade, she’s worked in the talent acquisition and DE&I fields, impacting thousands of career journeys along the way.  In 2020, she launched the Career Chasers Members Club, a virtual membership and career coaching experience for ambitious women of color who want to land their dream job and create a career they love, and has grown the community to over 600 members across the US, South Africa, London, Nigeria, Ghana and Sweden, Netherlands (11 countries & counting and over 20 industries!). She is also an Adjunct Faculty at the North Carolina A&T State University with the College of Business & Economics.

Her innovative approach drives Perfeqta’s curriculum and consulting style to help build equitable and safe spaces for the recruiting and advancement of top diverse talent. She’s been featured in Forbes, Black Enterprise, The New York Times, and more as well as served clients such as  Google, Amazon, Bleacher Report, Hubspot, Zapier, and SAP. In 2019, she received the Young Alumna Award for the Belk College of Business at her alma mater, UNC Charlotte. 

Her vision is simple: make Perfeqta an industry-leader in helping businesses foster productive, inclusive and equitable workplaces everywhere. In her less busy moments, she enjoys shopping, reading org psychology books, and playing with her cat, Nipsey.
